Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to follow ethical guidelines throughout the publication process. This statement is based on the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must present original work that is free from plagiarism, falsification, or manipulation.

  • The manuscript should not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal or previously published elsewhere.

  • All sources and references must be appropriately cited.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and acknowledge all funding sources.

  • All individuals who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for the final decision on whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected.

  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively and without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, citizenship, or political views.

  • Confidentiality must be maintained throughout the review process.

  • Editors should take appropriate action in cases of suspected ethical misconduct.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to assist in editorial decision-making.

  • Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and not use any part of the content for personal advantage.

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review if a conflict exists.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities

  • The publisher ensures that ethical standards are upheld throughout the publication process.

  • In case of proven scientific misconduct or plagiarism, the publisher will work with the editors to take appropriate action, including retraction or correction of the published article.
